TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRAFFORD HANDBALL CLUB
Welcome to Trafford Handball Club. Joining our community means agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, designed to ensure a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all. These terms incorporate The Handball Foundation's latest policies, ensuring our club aligns with broader organizational values and legal requirements. By joining the Club, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Membership
1.1. Open to all, embracing diversity and inclusivity in alignment with THF's Equity Policy Statement.
1.2. Requires completion of an application and adherence to THF's comprehensive policies (Our Policies).
1.3. Membership is conditional upon upholding club values, rules, and respect towards all members and staff.
1.4. The club maintains the authority to refuse or terminate memberships for policy breaches or conduct contrary to THF values.
2. Fees and Payments
2.1. Fees are annual and must be paid in advance, with details provided upon joining.
2.2. Fee adjustments will be communicated with a minimum 30-day notice.
2.3. Membership benefits are suspended during unpaid fee periods.
2.4. Refunds are considered under exceptional circumstances, consistent with THF policies.
3. Club Activities
3.1. Membership grants access to club activities, subject to scheduling and potential additional fees.
3.2. Adherence to instructions from club coaches and officials is mandatory.
3.3. Activity cancellations or adjustments can occur due to unforeseen events.
3.4. Members must not engage in actions that risk the safety of themselves or others.
4. Health and Safety
4.1. Members must ensure their health and ability to participate in activities, adhering to the Health and Safety Policy Statement.
4.2. Disclosure of medical conditions or injuries is required for tailored participation advice.
4.3. The club reserves the right to limit participation based on health and safety evaluations.
4.4. Compliance with health and safety guidelines is mandatory for all members.
5. Liability
5.1. Participation is at members' own risk, with the club not liable for incidents beyond its negligence.
5.2. Members are encouraged to secure personal insurance for activity-related risks.
5.3. The club's liability extends only to incidents directly resulting from its negligence.
6. Code of Conduct
6.1. Members are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on the club and complies with the THF Code of Conduct.
6.2. Discriminatory behaviour or conduct that discredits the club will result in disciplinary actions.
6.3. The club upholds a zero-tolerance policy towards discrimination and harassment.
7. Amendments
7.1. The club reserves the right to amend terms with notification to members through email or the club's website.
7.2. Disagreements with amendments may lead to membership termination upon written notice.
8. Governing Law
8.1. Governed by the laws of England and Wales, with jurisdictional disputes settled within these territories.
9. Club Policies

9.2. Compliance with club and THF policies is expected of all members.
