My name is Anxo and I was born in the North of Spain. I started to play handball when I was 12 and at the age of 18 I got my first qualification as a coach and I began a new exciting side of handball. I have combined both aspects of playing and coaching, during my University years and beyond. I coach with boys and girls from 12 years old to adults.
I moved to England 7 years ago and lived in London during my first year where I trained with the Thames Handball Club. After that I moved to Manchester but unfortunately I suffered a bad injury in my achilles tendon and I had to quit playing sports.
My expertise is diverse, I have worked in education and environmental projects in different countries, including as a teaching assistant in a Spanish University.
I am passionate about handball and I put my heart and soul into it. I am excited to be involved in helping to grow the handball community in Manchester, and helping Trafford Handball Club to achieve their goals
